The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has increased the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to ₦955 per litre across its retail outlets.
Checks in Abuja on Monday showed that stations along the Kubwa Expressway, Wuse, and other parts of the city had adjusted their meters from ₦890 to the new price.
The hike, representing a ₦65 increase, has also taken effect in Kogi and Nasarawa states. It follows a similar adjustment by independent marketers over the weekend, who raised their prices to between ₦950 and ₦971 per litre after Dangote Refinery reviewed its ex-depot price from ₦820 to ₦858 per litre.
In Kwara State, petrol now sells for up to ₦910 in some areas, with filling stations in Ilorin charging between ₦870 and ₦885 per litre.
