Chioma Adeleke, wife of Afrobeats megastar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has spoken publicly about the singer’s steadfast support for her ambitions beyond their family life.

In an interview with Noire TV, Chioma, widely known as Chef Chi, revealed that despite the challenges she has faced over the years, her husband has remained deeply invested in her personal growth and dreams.

“David cares a lot about my dreams. I’ve faced a lot of challenges over time, but he would always ask me, ‘Chi, apart from all of this, what do you actually want to do?’ Then we would make plans, and we have stuff coming out in the next few months,” she said.

Chioma described Davido as caring, intentional, and committed to ensuring she thrives in her own right, not just as his wife. She hinted that upcoming projects they have been working on together will soon be unveiled.

The couple, who have long been in the public eye, recently tied the knot in a highly publicized wedding, solidifying their status as one of Nigeria’s most talked-about celebrity pairs.
